Romans 5:18-19 ; “In other words, just as condemnation came upon all people through one transgression, so through one righteous act of Jesus’ sacrifice, the perfect righteousness that makes us right with God and leads us to a victorious life is now available to all. (19)One man’s disobedience opened the door for all humanity to become sinners. So also one man’s obedience opened the door for many to be made perfectly right with God and acceptable to Him.” (TPT version)

In the beginning God had a plan. A plan for mankind to be BLESSED, have dominion, rule and reign over the earth and every creature within it. A plan where He would have an intimate relationship with mankind who He created like Him, In His image and likeness, fellowshipping with him regularly. A plan where mankind would live forever, multiplying and filling the Earth, and all would be very good.

However, with the plan and creation of mankind He too gave free will. Free will to choose Him and the right way of living, and with that free will the first man created did not choose God’s way and plan. In fact, the first man Adam disobeyed God and chose to do what He specifically said not to do and that was “eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.” When Adam made that decision it opened the door for sin , evil, and death to be brought in the world, and it separated mankind from God.

Thank God for His Love and Mercy that was extended for us to have a second chance. His Love and Mercy that thought of another way to bring about His plan. But with the corrupt seed of man, there was only one way to make it all right again and that was sacrifice blood that had never sinned.

Because everyone came from the seed of Adam, everyone by default is born a sinner and separated from God. That’s why ONLY ONE man, who was conceived not of the corrupt seed, but miraculously by the Holy Spirit of God, could pay the price for ALL sin. And that man is Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Jesus sacrificing His perfect life and shedding his spotless blood gave you and me the opportunity to be reconnected to God and live with Him for eternity. Jesus Christ sacrifice was the greatest plan! As He was beaten, scorned, spat on, and mocked, He was thinking of you and me. Then when He went to hell to take back the key to life He defeated the devil and received the victory for you and me.

Now Jesus is risen from the dead with ALL authority, on the right hand of God, interceding that you will receive everything He did. And there is one simple way; Romans 10:9-10 says that if we believe in our hearts God has raised Jesus from the dead and confess that as a result “Jesus is Lord” “You shall be saved.” “With your heart you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud” resulting in your salvation and saving from eternal damnation.

So if you haven’t already received the Savior Jesus Christ and made Him the Lord over your life right now is the time. This is your first Faith step. It is then when you are in right standing with God and have received the plan that allows for us to be with Him in Heaven forever and ever!
